My father was there for over a week and they NEVER gave him a shower or bath. The doctor only came in 1 time a week. My father was told he couldn''t be discharged on the weekend. So he has to spend yet another weekend in this horrible place.. Don''t let your family members to put in this place.

During Hurricane there was very minimal lighting in halls, no lighting in bathrooms for patients or shower areas. No air conditioning, nor large fans to bring fresh air through the halls. Please Don't put your family member in such a position to be scared and have Nurse Administration not doing their jobs. No diabetic diet or selections and roaches in the rooms. I broke both legs and family had to bathe me and bring me my meals because I am diabetic.

Brentwood Retirement Community has private apartments, so my friend has privacy there. The food is awful, she hates it and that's the most negative thing about it. For breakfast, they send oatmeal every morning but it's like a gel block, it's terrible.
